November 9, 201312 yr http://www.simflight.com/2013/11/08/psx-aerowinx-747-400-final-works/ i have recently moved to X-Plane 10, for good, and am very happy with my FINAL decision, but Aerowinx PS1 was my best ever airliner sim, for one of my preferred airliners of all times. Now PSX is comming along fast, and will have the possibility to use either FSX or X-Plane visuals!!! WHOW!!! I am not sure I understand what this add-on is, I know it's a 747-400 model but I see 2D panel only, and do you mean that the model will work with either FSX or XP10? November 9, 201312 yr Commercial Member I am not sure I understand what this add-on is, I know it's a 747-400 model but I see 2D panel only, and do you mean that the model will work with either FSX or XP10? it is the closest you will ever get to a true 744 simulation without having to hire a £400 an hour lvl-d simulator. Even the old version is a work of art. Honestly if you are serious about having a true representation of the 744 then a lack of VC is a minor, besides You can undock screens for a home cockpit setup. It will send data to FSX and XP10 to drive the visuals. Rob Prest
November 9, 201312 yr Psx is a new version of Ps1, the famous DOS Boeing 744 system simulator. It's a stand allone sim but will be able to use FSX or XP scenery, if I got it right. The sim is not so much about the visuals, but simulates 99% of the real things systems. And I mean 99%, not the 99% that the advertising of XP or FSX 3rd party products tells you. I had countless hours of fun with Ps1. After a while I booked an hour of Proflight simulator and felt home as soon as I entered it.
November 9, 201312 yr Author Just to add to what Ralf and Rob already posted, the original program, of which I am a proud owner, is here: http://www.aerowinx.com while the forum where old users and prospective PSX users gather with the author - the MIGHTY HARDY HEINLIN - is here: http://aerowinx.com/forum/forum.php?id=1 Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

Looks like this one is killing my savings for the tattoo shop. ;-) I could be completely wrong, but based on the price of the original PS1, and considering the extreme depth of systems modeling of the new PSX, I'd estimate that it will sell at a price point well into the 3-digit range. November 9, 201312 yr Author I'm guessing €450, maybe €500.
