November 25, 201312 yr Believe it's going to require a module update. Sounds like it worked before the release.
November 25, 201312 yr Author Oh man, now myself trapped in the double/tripple thead trap. (How I do ... not like ... this forum software ) I'm very sorry and mods please delete my other threads Guenter Steiner -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Betatester for: A2A, LORBY, FSR-Pillow Tester --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
November 25, 201312 yr Author Ok, got is (partly) If you have assigned your axes through FSUIPC (as I have), you should backup your old FSUIPC.ini and change then the joystickcharacters in the new so that the functions match. (sorry, hard to describe for me in english - but everyone how knows a bit in FSUIPC will know what I mean. If your joystick was formerly A and is now D, then change D to A ) Then it is running, but you still have no access to the menue to change something. November 25, 201312 yr I'm sure this is something simple for Pete to fix, the installer does actually say that the version of P3D installed is later than the latest version FSUIPC knows of. I'm sure Pete will fix it shortly after his return from holiday. He is due back in the next couple of days I think. Cheers, Andy.
November 25, 201312 yr Author Gunther, does LINDA work in v2? YES! November 25, 201312 yr Surprisingly yes it does, even though at this time FSUIPC cant be called from the addons menu, just copy linda and the FSUIPC4.ini across from your FSX install and it should work fine. Seems to be working OK for me so far with the default Bonanza anyway. Cheers, Andy.
November 25, 201312 yr Pete has a module up for P3D V2.0 here: http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66139-updated-modules/ Install complete FSUIPC version 4.921f Install FSUIPC4.921f for FSX and Prepar3D 1.4 -- The 4.921b Installer handles Prepar3D systems with uninstalled FSX remnants, and is ready for P3D V2. -- The 4.921f Installer deletes entries in the Registry which can cause FSX or P3D to crash on start up FSUIPC version 4.921i, only, for those with 4.92 already installed FSUIPC 4.921i -- Fixes a problem for Windows 8.1 users which can cause FSX to crash. -- Adds a parameter for changing the axis range-assigned control repeat rate -- Provides different options for the TimeForSelect parameter, to avoid event sequencing problems with some addons. -- Fixes a problem with offsets 03C0-03FF. November 25, 201312 yr We already have that installed, but it doesn't allow you to open it from the addons menu. It's actually running and everything that connects through it works OK, but you cannot open the GUI. The version of P3D that was released today was not available when Pete built his last version of FSUIPC just before he went away on holiday. Cheers, Andy.
