P3D default aircraft list

Featured Replies

Hello, I'm new to posting on AVSIM and I'm thinking of switching from FSX to P3D.  Is there a complete list of all the aircraft included with P3D?

How's this?

I really doubt that Iris, Carenado and JFFSX would provide default aircraft for free, are you sure these were not transferred from FSX or a previous installation of P3D?

P3D v1.4 included several Just Flight aircraft, from the outset.

........and yes, all of those aircraft (including the Carenado and Iris) are included in the default P3D 2.0 install.

It was listed directly in Lockheed Martin's announcement: http://www.prepar3d.com/news/2013/11/4648/

There ARE all included in the V2 install. BUT the commercial airliner does not appear on the vehicles list. Does anyone know how to make is visible?

The Commercial Airliner doesn't have a Panel subfolder, so it seems to be AI-only.

Same goes for the CRJ-700, the Beaver, the Dash8, the Goose, and the PA28.  Just being in the SimObjects/Airplanes folder doesn't mean you get to fly it.

Of the default aircraft, have tried most (except for the airliners, which I'm not much interested in), and think that the Moody Acclaim and the Maule.are actually quite nice.  As good as some payware.

So that's not exciting at all. No airliners....pahh, better to stay with FSX then.

Yeah...., everyone is really into flying the default tubeliners. Almost makes you wonder why there are any Commercial Members making tubes, what with all the people flying the default Airbus, the 737 and the 744. Yeah...., everyone is really into flying the default tubeliners!
