Can I still get the game?

Featured Replies

I bought Flight and all of the DLCs (except the Deluxe Cub) a while ago, but since Games for Windows LIVE is no more and for some reason I decided it was a good idea to uninstall Flight, I can't acess it. I can download the base game from Steam, but I can't acess my DLC.

Is there any way I can get them?

Have you tried logging into Games for Windows Live (GFWL)? I did 3 weeks ago and the base package and DLC was listed as available for download and installation. I just checked this site and it looks like it's still going; http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/pc/downloadclient

AS Meshman mentioned, if you log in to Live, you should be able to d/l all the DLC you have licenses for as well as getting the sim back.

Good luck.

Thank you.

Rick

Thanl you. I was able to download the game and the DLC.

What about the DLC I don't have (DLX Cub)?

Can I still buy it?

I don't believe you can purchase new DLC now.  I sure am sorry you didn't get the CC as in my opinion, it's the best a/c in Flight. I'm a bit biased, however.

I'm hoping MS will do something in this respect to  letting Flight users acquire what they don't have either gratis or purchase.  We can only hope.

Thank you.

Too bad. The fact that it was released shortly before the cancellation didn't help really.  :(

Oh well. Maybe one day.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I don't have the C-46 either. It hasn't got an virtual cockpit, so it's not that important.

I wonder if they will ever detach Microsoft Flight from GFWL, like other games are doing now (Batman Arkham Asylum & City for example). If GFWL completely shuts down, we won't be able to download DLC and play multiplayer ever again.

I had everything before the shut down on my main i7 desk top. I also down loaded it all on my i5 laptop ,everything runs flawlessly on both machines. Glad I beat the deadline.

Rick is correct, the Carbon Cub is the best of the lot. I see a lot of people inquiring about the game now that it is too late. I would also hope that Microsoft would relent and let people acquire what is available someday, somehow.

I doubt Flight has a following big enough to justify spending money on that. And after all, it's been canceled.

Of course, where there is enough of a will, there is enough of a way, If Flight is ignored enough to be considered Abandonware
