December 22, 201312 yr For fine tuning of Saitek radio, it's good to change the increment of the knob for the ADF position. By default it is 1and 0.1 but its much better to change to 10 and 1 instead. Also you can program the toggle switch with two different behavior for a short or a long press. I programmed the long press so it select the appropriate button on the audio panel to listen to select the com frequency or to listen to the audio signal from a navaid. so a long press of the toggle switch do the following Com1 mode= Select com1 radio Com 2 mode = Select com2 radio nav 1 mode = select the nav1 button on the audio panel etc... i find it easier to active radio panel button from the saitek module than from the VC PierreP3D when its freezing in Quebec....well, that's most of the time...C-GDXL based at CYQB for real flying when its warming up...
December 22, 201312 yr Test SPAD with some of the stock legacy aircraft (Beech King Air 350) to find out if everything is working correctly. 3rd party aircraft can be hit and miss, it's not SPAD, it depends on how the developer has coded things. Although I've never done this myself, you can create custom profiles that can work with problematic 3rd party aircraft. One such profile comes with SPAD, it's for the PMDG 737NGX.
