March 21, 200521 yr <>So is FSD. The poster was asking for comparisions. On this issue, it is a tie.Regards,Jim
March 21, 200521 yr If customer service is an issue, I would pass on fsd international. I find their support to be lacking. I own their Piaggio Avanti, and I do not see a fix forthcoming -even though users have raised this issue frequently- of this plane's abysmal ILS performance.ricardo
March 21, 200521 yr And I would take Ricardo's last satement with a grain of salt. FSD offers excellend customer service. I know because I am one of the most picky consumers out there.
March 21, 200521 yr In my opinion the Flight 1 C441 is by far the better airplane. I own both the 441 and Cheyenne 400 and I only fly the 441.I like how it handles and i get around 38 fps when using multi-monitors with this aircraft. I also like the 2D panel. Very usable and a good representaion of the layout of the real aircraft.I am also a bit biased since I have around 200 hours of real flight time in the C441 both under FAA part 91 & 135 back in the early 90's(N441WM).The conquest is my GA twin of choice for both VFR and IFR flights.Happy Simming!Scott - ATP/CFII, Instructor Pilot - USAFA IFT, 557FTS, Colorado Springs, COSystem Specs: (Built this one myself)AMD Athlon-64 3000+ Gigabyte K8NS nForce3-250 Chipset 8x AGP Main Board 1GB DDR400 PC3200 Memory 160GB 7200 rpm Hard Drive 16x DVD-ROM Audigy 2ZS Gammer Sound Card5.1 Channel Surround Sound Speakers256MB GeForce-5700 8X AGP Video Cotytech Gaming CaseCH Products Yoke, Rudder Pedals, Throttle QuadrantSaitek Cyborg Gold Joystic for Helo's & Stick equipped aircraftWindows XP Pro SP2
March 22, 200521 yr I have the Cheyenne and I fly it the most out of all my aircraft. It's fast and stable. Plus, FSD has been good to me as far as customer service is concerned. I like the engine management load manager system they use too. Finally, I feel that Piper and Cessna are like Ford and Chevy: You can only have ONE favorite, and I choose Piper!

Flight1 has also excellent support.
March 23, 200521 yr When you speak of longer spool up time for the engines on the 441, I hope you are speaking of starting an engine. In flight, power is instantaneous for the TFE-331 engines on the 441 since they run at 100% all the time. Power is adjusted by changing fuel flow and propeller pitch. I don't have the 421 or 441 of which you speak but do have a few hundred hours in a 421A and a 441 in the real world. One way to categorize the 441 is to say it is a 421 on steroids! The 421 cruises at maybe 220kts and the 441 at 290-300kts. Happy landings, Mike Eppright (KAAO)
