The only problem is that you have to switch from mobile to desktop theme depending on what device you are on Avsim, right?

Edit. I went to my mobile phone and did not have to change anything. It automatically formatted the page for a mobile device.

Yes, but it's not the same as Tapatalk gave the user very quick forum access and easy to use navigation. Also you aren't stuck with having to deal with the forum through a limited phone based browser. This can making writing and editing a post anything between difficult and impossible.

I don't see any significant improvement in forum speed since Tapatalk was turned off. It seems very odd to me that the post announcing the new version of Tapatalk being implemented was (IIRC) only started about an hour or so before the one announcing Tapatalk was switched off forever.  That's hardly time for a fair trial and sorting out of any resulting issues.

Yeah that's kind of strange, me neither. I think those who said they saw improvements work for Tapatalk's competitors.

You are not going to give it up are you? We had the system throwing errors with the installed version. We upgraded to the latest version. Initially it appeared to fix matters. It became obvious after a very short period of time that it was just as bad, if not worse than the previously installed version. We removed it, and it will not be installed again. Accept it or not - that is your choice Kevin. I can tell you from my perspective, things have improved. We now do not have errors being thrown by it. And now I am shutting this thread.
