January 8, 201412 yr I've read that one of the ways people have gotten around the infamous joystick problem with windows 8 is by mapping their joysticks in FSUIPC, and I've looked at it, and don't exactly understand how to do it, is there a good tutorial out there someplace that explains everything? i'm tired of having my joystick cut out every time I do something outside of FSX.
January 8, 201412 yr Go to your FSX folder>modules>fsuipc...............the documents are in there. You have to take your time and carefully follow the instructions. It's the only way. Anthony O'Brien
January 8, 201412 yr And check out this guide as well: http://www.tropicairvirtual.com/company/misc/utility/tutorial/fsuipc-guide-v1.pdf While written with CH products in mind, the guide is broadly useful when getting familiar with FSUIPC and its controller routines. Wayne KlocknerUnited Virtual
January 9, 201412 yr This will get you going. I think it is based on CH products, but that doesn't matter, I used this originally when I started using FSUIPC and I have Saitek. The main thing is that it walks you through the process of set up using FSUIPC. http://fsuipc.simflight.com/beta/SIMSAMURAI+FSUIPC+TUTORIAL.pdf Regards, Edit: OOPS, completely missed Wayne' link. Now you have two tutorials. Rick Hobbs

January 9, 201412 yr http://fsuipc.simfli...PC TUTORIAL.pdf Excellent document. Ive used it for many years. Blessed be Pete but for me, sometimes reading his documents is like reading Einsteins explanation of the Laws of Relativity.
