January 21, 201412 yr An Australian pilot took off from Port Macquarie to Bankstown airport in a Cessna 210, turned on the Autopilot, switched on the Country Music, then fell asleep at the controls. The plane entered Sydney Airspace and 2 inbound commercial flights had to be diverted to a higher altitude to avoid the Cessna. When he woke up he noticed he was over Sydney so he descended to 2500' and switched to Traffic Advisory and gave his position, he monitored Sydney, Brisbane and Williamtown and thought no one noticed him. ATSB investigated and he has been grounded.Moral of the story....shouldn't listen to Country Music when flying in a C210  http://www.stuff.co.nz/travel/travel-troubles/9636631/Flights-diverted-after-pilot-falls-asleep Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
