If anyone has downloaded France or the Netherlands from Simheaven v0.4.1b , please could you report back if you are having issues. Specifically a crash when taking off from EHAM,  and any of the Paris airports, and if it crashes, could you also please let me know your system specs (if not posted in your profile). There was bug yesterday in Switzerland due to a building which was set as 280 stories in OSM and caused X-Plane to crash, this issue has now been patched in Simheaven's scenery, and in OSM.

Tony,

The moment I enter Amsterdam radar from Rottedam bang .

Cannot even load EHRD and EHAM most of the time it crashes.

I get a crash in Paris too.

So I am on Default Objects settings.

Ironmaiden, is this your own generated scenery, or is it from Simheaven?

Tony,

I had NL HD generated but even that used to crash, so I used the one from simheaven but still the same.

 Paris is from simheaven.

I don't have a problem in Swtizerland (HD Generated) and Germany (Simheaven).

I don't have trees at LOWI on the runway

Using the SD W2XP scenery from Simheaven , no Photoscenery or HD Mesh for that area.

THis is on the laptop and Objects settings are to default but the Trees settings are maxed out.

Using Alpilotx Trees and Farms Europe V2.

Thanks Ironmaiden.

Have you tried running X-Plane with "texture compression" enabled in the settings. Maybe it's running out of memory? I can run it fine here, it's slow, but doesn't crash.

Thanks Ironmaiden.

Hmm I think i have tried them both. But i will give a shot once again.

Its the scenery from Simheaven. (Osm_Austria_beta4.1-sd.7z)

I notice you have the same scenery airport I have, so maybe why. Another user has just reported trees on the runway also, so it's a little sporadic. I'll have a look into this, but I can already tell you 2 reasons why it's happening

http://www.openstreetmap.org/node/30688182#map=15/47.2590/11.3520

- There is "meadow" around the runway, so World2XPlane draws trees around it (new rule in 0.4.0)

- There is no "aeroway=aerodrome" tag surrounding the airport.

I will increase the tolerance around runways for clipping, as I can see it has clipped it, just not very well, i.e. Using just the distance for a small road.

Update for Innsbruck: I've tagged the airport grounds on OSM http://www.openstreetmap.org/node/30688182#map=17/47.26008/11.34589,

So the next time this scenery is generated with the next minor update, there will be no trees on the runway. If anyone spots anymore, please go into OSM and trace the airport boundary and tag it as aeroway=aerodrome.

Its Funny, how can some get  trees and some don't when using the same scenery ?

I guess it's a thing of scenery order. On my video there is no tree at all, and it's because I have an Airport scenery setup first, before the OSM stuff... So it's all the same for everybody, can't believe that World2Xplane stands up in the morning and says, hmmmm, this time I might put some trees on the airports :-) :-)

It's simple I guess, some people have airports which have exclusion zones, others don't (and also as Blacky said, correct scenery order plays a big part).

It's not really something that should be fixed inside OSM and World2XPlane, and in general, it should be down to the airport developer to include proper exclusion zones for their airports. However, this is something anyone themselves can easily fix, either by editing OSM as shown in my post above (which will fix it for everyone), or opening up WED and adding an exclusion zone around the airport.

Well i don't I always delete the scenery ini file if I install a new scenery.

Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus

wanted to vote DISLIKE, but could be missunderstood :-) Make a batch, which when launches xplane, deletes the ini before. I did so, since then, all always fine :-)

So you delete it every time you load XPx . sounds good.

Hey what texture resolution are you using with your models ?

Actually be careful with this. The file looks like it is sorted alphabetically, so if you have two sceneries, e.g. EDDN, and Nuremburg, it would place the Nuremburg scenery above EDDN. Most developers have been clever about this and named their sceneries alphabetically, e.g. Airport - EDDN, xOSM-Nuremburg. So always check you get the desired results, and rename any sceneries that don't follow this rule.

Edit: Bad example, actually EDDN and Nuremburg would work. An example that wouldn't work is EHAM, and Amsterdam :-)
