Where can I find a sample world2xplane demo area that I can try out to see for myself? I can't seem to find a link.

Thanks tony, by looking at the directory it seems that this will be divided by country. So it will make changes to the entire country with one file? I'm assuming once people start working on other regions of the world such as the US for example, that we can just download the individual states that we need, am I correct?

 

Also to use these world2xplane scenery do I have to disable my OSM packs that I downloaded from simheaven, such as osm_Europe, osm_Europe_forest, etc?

 

It seems when I load up X-Plane it gives me a pop up window saying Error loading scenery, may not look right. But I have all the required libraries, and then windows runs out of memory and x-plane gives me an error saying out of memory.  

The above post was for EHAM area btw that ran out of memory, so I tried the LOWI Innsbruck area, and this is what it looks like on the runway, there are trees all over. Not sure what's wrong. I am using X-Plane 10.30b5, with w2xp_Austria_beta5.0-sd, z+47+011_A_Innsbruck_bx17 Photoscenery from simheaven and LOWI Innsbruck Kranebitten 1.01 airport, and have updated my default X-Plane navdata to 1407 if that has anything to do with it.

The trees on the runway are a known issue and have come from OSM where the grass areas surrounding are tagged as a meadow in OSM. TBH, I thought it had been fixed, but the Innsbruck LOWI I downloaded from the .org has proper exclusion zones that resolves this problem (Just make sure it has higher priority than all other scenery).

 

Also, you definitely don't need (and not recommended) to use Simheaven's OSM2XP scenery along with these, and you should disable it (as you have done). Having it enabled will increase loading times and memory usage, but will not give you any benefit. 

 

Regarding Amsterdam, do you also have the FFLibrary installed?, listed on the scenery page at http://www.world2xplane.com.

 

Also, all Simheaven's World2XPlane scenery currently has smart exclusions enabled which I personally don't like, and this increases the loading times and memory usage a lot. Once the software is out of beta, PilotBalu (admin of the site) will probably offer two versions, one with, and one without. Also, in a future version of World2XPlane we will more than likely add our own autogen which will be more regional and use the residential tags in OSM

 

Regarding the US states, well that depends on what Simheaven offer. I don't control/dictate what Simheaven offers, and they may not even distribute the US states, but the program can be ran yourself with your own settings and own regions, and there is a quickstart on the site to tell you how to do so. Once 0.5.1 is out, then I'll ask him if he'll upload a few US states.

tonywob I noticed my lowi airport was the old 1.0.1 version. I got 1.0.2 and it has been fixed. Thanks again for your help, everything is working great now! :)

Friends, I have 8GB of memory, and even with that the program is exceeding its limit thus causing "unresponsive, or pause the program itself," what should I do? The limit of the program is already scheduled to 8GB too.

Also, have you enabled "Local Storage Mode" by going onto the advanced tab and making sure the box is ticked?

I feel that W2XP generates high voltage lines ghosts. 

 

In Switzerland, in LSGL be LSGP and I get (W2XP betav5) superb high-voltage line across the lake ...! 

 

X-Plane basic version, this power line does not exist. 

 

On the map Opens Street Map This power line is not either!

When I select the file in .pbf Worl2x-plane and grip "start" the following message appears:

Hello friends, is there any way to have OSM data maintaining own autogen X-plane? 

 

 

I mean, when generating the new OSM in the region autogen cover these "empty" areas while maintaining the houses / building default. 

 

 

Any way to do this with Worl2x-plane? Or something next to it?  :Whistle:
