February 2, 201412 yr One of my earliest memories as a kid growing up in the Late 60's is going to the airport with my Parents to pick someone up or drop them off at Chicago's O'Hare airport and walking through the terminal[You could do that without a ticket in those day's] and looking through the window at The Beautiful.Vividly Colored "Braniff" Aircraft. The Colors seemed to represent those times so well. Thanks For Checking these out. X-Pane 10.FlyJSim Fabulous B727 100%75%50%d8a34be0e82d98b5a45ff4336cd0dddc Patrick
February 2, 201412 yr I was was right there with you Pat but in my case it was passing through Dallas' Love Field every summer before DFW opened. I remember how striking and somewhat spooky those ochre colored BAC 111's looked with the soot charred tails. Also remember seeing the great pumpkin 747 several times between her Honolulu runs. It was there I also got a tour through Delta's brand new first 747! I did finally get to ride on BI coming back from usaf boot camp at San Antonio to Dallas in early '82. She was an ultra red flying colors 727-200.
