February 8, 201412 yr Hi guys , I recently purchaesd an ipad air and wanted to use the efb package from aivlasoft.Hence I did some research and got airdisplay.I managed to run fsx with the efb,however if I click on the ipad screen or even touch the screen, fsx would minimize. If I try running fsx in windowed mode it would work fine, but what's the fun there right. Also that effects frames.So wanted to know if anybody got a fix for this ? Thanks. Clinton Royston Fernandes. February 8, 201412 yr The only way to use EFB on the iPad is with "Air Display". I gave up in the end (for the reasons stated above) and installed EFB on a second PC, which works perfectly. February 10, 201412 yr Trying to use ANY tablet with FSX over air-display will do this, due to the way FSX works. The only option is to run windowed mode, and make sure "pause on task switch" is not ticked, and thats as good as it gets using air-display. I switched to using EFB on a second PC instead and its soo much better, and now doesnt affect frames at all, not 1 bit :-) Still, you can then use your ipad for Virtual CDU, which is totally awesome!
