February 25, 201412 yr Has Carenado given anyone any idea as to how the progress is coming on this issue? Nope. Only thing they said is that they were looking into it. According to LM its not just this aircraft with issues and they are also looking into these problems. Intel i7 4770k @ 4.4GHz 16GB Ram ASUS GTX 980ti ASUS Maximus VI Hero
February 25, 201412 yr Has Carenado given anyone any idea as to how the progress is coming on this issue? Previously, I sent in a ticket to LM to report problems I seen with P3Dv2.1. I received this reply on 2-14-14: Greetings, Thanks for your valuable feedback. Since the P3D v2.1 release we're having numerous issues reported, there are many aircraft not working, malfunctioning avionics, graphics, etc. we're investigating the cause for all of these. It seems that P3D changed something in the software structure and that is causing problems. Once the origin of the issues is found, service packs for our products will be released. Best Regards Carenado Support. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW

March 1, 201412 yr Hello, at the facebook page of Carenado one can read that all problems have been solved with the release of the hotfix 1. But that isn't true! The Garmin is fully functional now, but there are frequently changes of the brightness of the Garmin GPS, so I think that needs to be fixed by Carenado. Patric

The Garmin is fully functional now, but there are frequently changes of the brightness of the Garmin GPS, so I think that needs to be fixed by Carenado. Patric I think we're all aware of Carenado's relationship with post-release patches, especially with aircraft as old as the C208B. Unless we keep sending them e-mails to press them about the issues, I don't think they'll do anything for the rest. Besides, the hotfix only covers up the errors with the gauges, it doesn't solve them. Which means that the errors with the GNS 430/530 and the G1000 will still eat performance and VAS until they get fixed.
March 4, 201412 yr I was very pleased to see that LM addressed the issue so promptly. I am however seeing a decrease in frame-rate/smoothness from before. Still, the overall feeling I get from this is positive, because they are listening and they are willing to act quickly to provide help with a problem. I should also add that my experience with an unrelated customer service query I made was excellent. They got back to me quickly and followed up to make sure the issue i was having had been resolved. - Bill Magann
