February 16, 201412 yr Hi everyone, I got around to doing another long haul flight today in a wonderful Emirates 777-300ER, arguably one of the most gorgeous aircraft out there. Total flying time today was 14 hours and 30 minutes gate to gate. Parked at Gate D9 and loading her up for the long journey ahead EK is just as massive in FS as it is in real life Sun is coming up as we push back Tootling along Turning with the Burj Khalifa in the background Third in line for take off Getting into position, this bird is very hard to capture in one frame due to its massive length Finally powering away with the city in view Banking away Dubai city in it's glory Climbing away, Palm Jebel Ali way back in the distance Cruising somewhere above the Central African Republic Waving goodbye to the coast of Africa over Cameroon The wonderful South Atlantic stretches far and wide below us Nearing the top of our descent Approaching SBGL and banking to avoid those hills Everything down as we're on finals on a nice and calm summers day Slowing down to vacate the runway as a GOL 737 is next in line for landing Parked at last far, far away from home And a final tail shot to bid goodbye Thanks for coming along on my (long) journey. As ImagineSim have just released their Shanghai Pudong scenery for FS9, my next flight will more than likely be using an Emirates A380 from Shanghai to Dubai as EK303. See you next time. :smile:
