February 20, 201412 yr Author Well golly, I certainly can't think of any worse punishment than reading a manual... I thought I'd written it in there. My apologies for having a lapse of memory. CTRL+F is a great way to find information in the searchable manuals. There's absolutely no reason it should've taken you 30 minutes to find that it's not in there. Because of this earlier error, I decided to search the forum for you and noticed that it seems you're about the only one having this problem. The others seem to be doing just fine after finding that you just click and drag somewhere near the border, despite the border (again) being smaller. For what it's worth, part of support is providing someone the best source for the information, and not necessarily the exact answer in your own words. First, multiple encoding and decoding of information as it passes through various sources is how misconceptions come about. Second, there's the whole teach a man to fish concept. Perhaps next time you'll look to the manual first next time. I'm very sorry for forcing you to waste your time reading something you should have already read. In any case, not to say I'm the only helpful person around here, but good luck getting help in the future. I won't be helping you any further, and with an attitude like that, I doubt too many others will be going out of their way to help you, either. It's possible. ...and it's EZDok. Sorry, was that too much sarcasm again? You gave me wrong advice and I wasted my time... hence I returned with a little bit of an attitude. I'm a big boy I can handle sarcasm, frustration with a problem is another issue though. I ask for help, get misleading advice, can't find the references in the manuals after re-reading them, voice a little frustration and get cut off from support? And yes, I did read the manual cover to cover when I first purchased this AC and never remembered seeing it referenced, so being told to READ THE MANUAL is Frustrating...! That's fine if you feel you will no longer offer me any support and I guess I can always PM Ryan Maziarz from now on. However, I'm hoping for a $90 product (that I'm having trouble with) I can get some support in here or I definitely have a really big complaint with PMDG. Being denied customer support for voicing frustration with a product, that isn't operating correctly, for me is very bad business! Anyway with a SIG like yours I'd expected you to have a slightly thicker skin ;-) At no point was I trying to insult you or put you down and I'm sorry if you feel that way now. But hey, at least now I know where PMDG stands regarding their EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! `SARCASM` Chris Camp

In the business world customer service involves and has to anticipate dealing with frustrations from consumers? At least now I know where PMDG stands regarding their EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! `SARCASM` You are in a customer support forum where people volunteer their time to help others with issues. If you want official support from PMDG submit a support ticket. John Sturm
February 20, 201412 yr Being denied customer support It's more likely that nobody is helping you because nobody has had this problem. My understanding is that olli4740 thought he had the problem but was mistaken, so maybe johnsturm's advice is best - to get official PMDG help through a support ticket. Dugald Walker

Yes, it appears my problem is unfortunately unique, holding off on a total reinstall for now and I will submit a ticket. Chris Camp
February 20, 201412 yr Commercial Member And yes, I did read the manual cover to cover when I first purchased this AC and never remembered seeing it referenced, so being told to READ THE MANUAL is Frustrating...! ...then you'd know that this is the community support forum and that official support comes from the support portal at support.precisionmanuals.com. I know for a fact that's in the manual. However, I'm hoping for a $90 product (that I'm having trouble with) I can get some support in here or I definitely have a really big complaint with PMDG. But hey, at least now I know where PMDG stands regarding their EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! `SARCASM` Where are you getting denied support from PMDG? I'm not PMDG. I'm simply the local, occasionally-helpful "support" troll who volunteers his time in an attempt to help people. You decided to get upset at my attempt to do so, and I decided to stop attempting to help. That has very little to do with thick skin. Thick skin is being able to take criticism, name calling and all that. What you're referring to is patience. I really don't have much of that, you're right. Kyle Rodgers
February 20, 201412 yr Author Well, i apologize for the outburst and for what its worth, thanks for being the occasional helpful Troll around here. ;-) Chris Camp
