February 18, 201412 yr I recently replaced my GTX580 with a GTX770, pretty happy with the results. Here are a few shots from HNL to SFO using REX Textures and Opus. February 18, 201412 yr Wow...those are really nice. How much improvement did you get out of the new card? Gregg Seipp "A good landing is when you can walk away from the airplane. A great landing is when you can reuse it." i9 64GB RAM, GTX-5090
February 18, 201412 yr Really beautiful shots. Does Nvidia really helps in overall smoothness and looks against AMD caeds? Planning to get a new card. Dushantha Baduge
February 18, 201412 yr Author What's interesting is I didn't really get the card for performance or smoothness; I was happy with my GTX580. What I wanted was surround what I got was a pleasant surprise. That being said I saw an improvement in frame rate and was able to increase my Nvidia Inspector settings. I am seeing rates in the upper 20's with FSX setting pretty much maxed (using all the standard tweaks ). Other goal was not to spend a small fortune on something like a Titan so for less than that I picked up the card and an additional 23" Samsung monitor. FS'ing is a terrible addiction Kevin -.- . ...- .. -.
