Starting where I left off in FSX...

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me how I can start a new flight from where I left off after I exit FSX?  I want to fly a series of legs on my flight but not at one sitting...

You can either do it 2 ways save  the flight after you land and than load it  next time or  just next time  when you start fsx  just start where you had landed before

I've been saving my flight every time.  This is very useful for keeping fuel levels and switch positions in the cockpit.  It's also useful if you're in a non-standard parking spot, or on an airfield that doesn't have parking spots.

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

I use FSXSave- http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=139844

It automatically saves a flight at a selected interval.

It is handy if you want to restart a flight after the sim crashes.

I have it set to save a flight every 2 minutes with a maximum of 3 saves.

After landing and completing the shut down checklist I let the sim set for a minute, then close it.

To return to that situation I simply load the last saved flight and Bob's your uncle.
