I went back to the original post in this topic and have my own answer. FSX used to be my only flight simulator, but when I think of what kinds of planes I will be buying in the next year, I'm looking of all the cool planes and helicopters I can get for DCS.  I wish it had more popularity on Avsim.  If something really great for FSX comes out, and I mean really great, I'll get that too, but my time of FSX being the only thing in flight simulation is over.  I'm well aware that FSX is tired and old, and I'm not settling for it, I'm branching out from it.
