February 24, 200521 yr Yeah only scenery add ons from what I have seen except ariane perhaps seem to get over that mark :).
February 24, 200521 yr Guys Par has just confirmed what I've been trying to say here... The weaker dollar makes purchasing FS add-ons cheaper for him in Sweden, by contrast those very same add-ons can be perceived as increasing in price for Americans. Bottom line is even if you think $40 is not that bad for an add-on, some are noticing a substantial drop in prices from a couple of years ago. When you think about it, FS98/2000 add-ons were cheaper in general for all of us because they required much less work to produce than it takes now. But in Sweden these add-ons were more expensive because of the American dollar value...We all screamed at what Ariane was charging for their 737NG ($100). I wonder if Spanish Simmers saw that price the same way. Maybe in their currency it equated to only $40-50 dollars. Maybe someone here can help me on the actual numbers versus harping on how I have all my FACTS wrong. Can someone here give some actual numbers (FACTS) as to what $100 dollars of our money looks like to another country in Europe (Spain for example)??? :-roll FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
February 24, 200521 yr Look at theirs and then look at Wilco's:http://wilcopub.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=prod_380
February 25, 200521 yr No comparison, absolutely none!Wilco is by far the better model, easily three times better. What bites with the Abacus version is that besides the amateurish panel, which is barely forgivable, the performance of the aircraft is horrible. Which shocks me, because there is not enough detail in either the flight deck nor the external visuals to warrant such a performance hit.Which just lads me to believe that the code is extremely sloppy or un-optimized at best.Again, while the Wilco is towards the top end of what I would pay, I still might pay for it (I don't have active camera, so the cabin views are somewhat useless to me.) However even at $10.00 USD the Abacus version is way above my price range.
