May 26, 201412 yr Hi Guys! I'm really impressed by what PFPX can do. It's a fair price that they charge for thier software, but I'm not ready to make a commitment to the software yet. I was wondering if anyone was aware to a low cost or free alternative to PFPX. I don't expect it to do nearly as much but route planning and exporting to payware planes are the features I am most interested in. I appreciate your thoughts guys!

May 27, 201412 yr I second Plan-G, its great for VFR planning! For everything else I use Flight Sim Commander, it has a demo that will exit after 30 mins (you can restart it though). It cost € 39.90 to register.
May 28, 201412 yr Is PFPX only for Tubeliners.. or does it work well for GA planning as well? PFPX is for IFR flight only, liners or GA aircraft, so, no VFR. Enrico
May 28, 201412 yr I do mostly IFR, just when I looked at the screenies for PFPX, I thought it was directed more towards tubeliners... I like my PMDG 737 NGX.. but I fly others more often..
