I had absolutely no problem purchasing the P3Dv2 license, installing and using it in P3Dv2, and getting my rebate back. I definitely flew more than 3 hours in FSX prior to now.

 

The only thing I'm not happy about is the $80 price ($30 after rebate), which guarantees if the Cherokee is that pricey for the P3Dv2 version then I'll be sitting that one out and A2A will be down one very loyal purchaser/customer.

I don't have FSX only P3D. I only had the FSX version less than a week and then purchased the new P3D version. I followed their instruction on how to get the rebate and had be refunded the difference within a couple of hours. No issues, no problems. Just sent them my proof of purchase and it was done. 

They recently added the info below. Too bad they do not have someone to help them with instructions since that is the BIGGEST failing of the person who creates instructions for product acquisition. Every time I bought something from A2A I was confused. Some are't and I admire their intellect and insightful talents.

 

The email link took me to Comcast. I had to look at the HTML to find the address. Possibly my Chrome browser issue.

The "Accu-Sim C172----Click here" link will open your default email program where you enter the info as you have stated. Click on send and within a very short time you should receive back an email at the address you sent the request from. Mine took less than 10 minutes to confirm and refund.

For clarification if you paid via a credit card or PayPal the email is ABOUT your rebate and is thus a confirmation.

I finally completed the process and have my rebate/refund/credit. That process was flawless. It was the initial instructions that were unclear. I simply do not trust anyone when the word rebate is used. Second being asked to repurchase a product in the HOPE you will get a rebate is a big red flag for me. I see why they did it since they do not control all the sales outlets but there was insufficient care in preparing the instructions.

 

You now have a different plane and resetting control calibration may be needed.

I'm pretty sure that the P3D version of the A2A C172 is still identical (at least in this version) to the FSX C172. The reason you may have to reset your calibration is mostly due to the Accu-Sim Core v.2.0 changes.
