B752 Any Good?

Featured Replies

I noticed the on sale Boeing 757-200 on sale through today from the Org store.

How is it? Is the customer service good there?

Worth $40?

The B752 is a fantastic addon. Feature rich and a joy to look at and to fly in! Especially for that price, it's worth every cent.

Concerning the org and their customer service, I guess I am the wrong person to answer that question. ;-)

But they have a lot of happy customers for sure!

The 752 is worth every penny even at full price.  As far as support is concerned, the support forum at the org is constantly monitored by one of the developers of the plane, and every question I have asked has been answered and then some.  For 40 it's a no brainer.

System wise I don't think you'll be disappointed. You may though, if graphic accuracy is important to you. Example the center pillar in the cockpit is too thin. Externally the flap animation is just wrong! Too much separation between panels when deployed. One thing you should be aware with this model, is like the Captain Sim model for FSX this model is modelled after the original variant of the 757. So somethings that you may expect to work a certain way with newer 757's won't work with this one. For example the original FMC was crude by today's standards. It will not automatically calculate aTOD.You have to define EOD (End of descent) for the FMC to calculate . There's a couple of ways to do it, it should be in the manual. People saw this with the CS757, and automatically assumed it was a bug, when in fact, that is the way it was in the early 80's when the 757/767 was put into service.

Thanks

Thanks for all that....  I decided to wait until I update my system especially the video card....  tired of having to run on normal or high textures... looks not great.

I have the aircraft and enjoy it except for the dark window tint on the windshield that makes it too dark during the day.

Wish they had an option to turn it off like Alabeo and Carenado use on their aircraft.
