June 23, 201411 yr Author Alright, I got the QW 146 / Avro today and just completed my first flight in the RJ100 - involving a hair-raising takeoff in a thunderstorm, several near crashes in mountainous terrain because I got the VNAV wrong, and finally a fairly horrible, bumpy landing. In other words, a great success! :P I have to say that this bird is absolutely amazing. Exactly what I have been looking for. A little underwhelming at first glance, as the VC isn't quite up to the high standards seen in other payware aircraft, but once I got it moving everything about it felt just "right" and the flight was absolutely wonderful. Thanks again to everyone here for the great advice! Cheers!
June 23, 201411 yr +1 for the Twin Otter. Seriously give her a look, i know that you bought the QW Avro, the Twotter is far more fun to hand fly and looks better. Both the Q400 and NGX can do short flights, but setting them up to do these flights takes more time than the flight. I was a little disappointed in the QW Avro, it's my favourite plane in Real Life. In my personal opinion the VC is ugly and the system depth isn't what i was expected. Ian R Tyldesley
