November 9, 201411 yr we are actually working on level3 and its derivatives 1 and 2 this is not keeping us from releasing NEFR we are also delivering a different interpretation of motorways the way they are in France (rustic view) while also providing the normal Night Environment rendition (fully light motorway) the structure will look something like this NE - France – Motorways NE - Paris - Level4 NE - France – Level3 NE - France – Level2 NE - France – Level1 NE - France – Level0 NE - France – Base Paris level4 or Motorways will be activated along with level 1-3
November 11, 201411 yr I think this is the first time I have heard of the Motorways feature. Sounds like a very good idea to me. My charge card awaiteth!!!
November 11, 201411 yr i will try to capture this feature in few shoots for you guysessentially many roads in France are unlighted at nightwhat we are doing in France which is different from other renditions we did so farwe developed/ing an algorithm that helps us achieve this rustic specific look;where main roads become darker as you distance away from the main city corenot all out customers were happy to learn this is how we are doing NEFRto satisfy everyone; we are doing it both ways, by default you will turn onNE - France – MotorwaysNE - France – Level3NE - France – Level0NE - France – Baseturning Motorways off; will deactivate the part we differentiate with our algorithmand give you a more rustic night view This is the main feature difference we are doing in France; it’s been keeping us working extra hours to get it right across the region

December 2, 201411 yr Thank you Gerard there are few more surprises to come; although the group constantly comes up with new ideas and features to implement we decided to release our current development then continue developing more features we are wrapping NEFR revision 1 these days we will try to have this ready for X-Mas
December 5, 201411 yr we decided to release our current development then continue developing more features Having been a programmer myself for many years, I commend your decision. A win for us because we get the product, and a win for you because you get some money coming in. Before Christmas would definately be nice. Good Luck! And happy flying.
December 5, 201411 yr Thank you PDX, on the one hand we want to deliver the best product we possibly can our group constantly comes up with new ideas we are eager to implement all this causes delays we all feel uncomfortable with the decision was mine to basically say; guys this isn’t the only release we will make we need to get something out to our customers who are patiently waiting for a long time we all agreed, and basically draw the line at the current development additions some features will be added after the initial release is made like you said it’s a win for everyone, our customers get something, we get a little brake from the pressure; and as a side dish we can get first hand feedback many of the changes and features implemented with NEFR will become the new NE standards for Night Environment v2 and yes, there’s a version 2 in the works (a free upgrade to our existing customers)

March 7, 201511 yr Chris that looks very very nice Don't know whether it's my eyes but those ground splashes look much softer and diffuse than I'm used to seeing? K Kevin Firth - AMD 9800X3D; Asus Prime X670E; 64Gb Cas30 6000 DDR5; RTX5090; AutoFPS
March 7, 201511 yr Thank you Kevin adjust/calibrate your screens gamma (Display setting page > on the left calibrate your screen > go through the prompt to calibrate your gamma) in P3D the colors look much better with HDR off and tessellation off as well (don’t know why tessellation effects color; it’s some P3D bug) and be sure to set your monitor color profile as shown in the image below
