Ezdok Shaking Issues

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I just installed Ezdok and it works fine on the ground, however in flight it does this:

Any ideas? Another strange thing to note is that when i put full aileron deflection on in any aircraft, the aircraft stutters from the cockpit view.

Thanks,

Callum

Forgot to mention; I had accufeel set up but I removed it to try to resolve this issue.

Thanks,

Your youtube video is set to private so can't be seen.

Apologies everyone, the video has been fixed.

Looks like another program is messing with it.

What all, camera, weather, view type addons do you have installed? TrackIR?

I have REX, EZdok, GSX, various aircraft, nothing that I think would interfere with the view.

Check the mapping of controls and keyboard; looks like a conflict. Looks like your viewpoint is constantly trying to snap back to center while at the same time move with G forces.

Is the solution to any mapping conflicts just completely clearing all of the default FSX view controls?

Do you use trackIR? If yes have you rename the .dll relative to simconnect as explained in video setup configuration?

Yes because once installed, EZdok 'takes charge' or 'controls' all camera views. So go through the list of FSX 'events' and clear any keyboard key or joystick assignments of ALL events related to 'views' - and there are many, i.e., Eyepoint (there are many), Look (there are many), View (there are many), etc. See items 6.1, 6.2 and 6.3 on page 8 of EZdok's User Manual.

I'm with VeryBumpy, looks like a conflict somewhere...

Nope, that didn't seem to be the issue; I completely removed all the FSX assignments and the issue persisted.

If it happens with TrackIR turned off, everything else turned off and all your views in FSX disabled, then I'm stumped.

Have you tried turning off all the camera movement effects in the Ezdok GUI, such as random head movements, dynamic head movements etc etc. If you do this and the issue still persists, then I'm unsure what the issue may be.

None of the above have fixed the issue. I feel like a FSX reinstall is the only solution because this happens to a much lesser degree even without EZdok installed.
