Really Bad Weather In Paris.....

Featured Replies

Was that today?  I was leaving LFMN towards Canada and flew over Paris around 1800Z, radar was all lit up and I had significant turbulence at FL370, even if I went around most of it.

Thanks for sharing! Great video! Nice cockpit shadows, too (DX10-Fixer?)

Amazing how realistic it looks and funny to see that there is not much that I would have done different, except e.g. putting on the wing lights during daylight below 10000ft; but I noticed your hesitation on that B)  .

Your scenery looks great, too.  A bit annoying that the VASI/PAPI is not corresponding to your G/S indication. Something that I had very often in FS9 but seldom in FSX.

Funny to see the T7 water wake fx bug when being parked; it's the same "here". The weather was really bad: everyone diverted from or left LFPG (just kidding!).

I will take a short cargo hop from EDDK to LFPG and see if I can catch a windshear for sunday evening entertainment (or should I say simulation/training)

Great video. I took off in that mess from EGLL last night. The 777-300ER's weather radar was lit up.  I am nearing my sunny destination as I write this.

Thanks for the feedback  ^_^ ,

Yep really bad weather for sure. I live in Denmark and we had some of it last night.

The scenery is Aerosoft LFPG with FTX Vector,OLC EU,Global ,REX+,and DX10 fixer and FSPS Fiber A. 1.2

Shadowplay is used for recording and no edit.

Really love this bird allthough i need to train the manually part during approach some more.

When you disconnect the Autopilot just prior to my DH , the speed trim reference should be in "trimmed condition" to current speed right ?

Thanks

Michael

Slem vejr i Danmark? Nej...aldrig...  :P

Then again, it wasn't much better up in Norway, either.  Last time I was travelling between the two countries (Kristiansand to Hirtshals), there was a hurricane.  Yep.  Hurricane, that far north.

When my friend said "orkan" in the car after picking me up from the boat, I seriously asked "har 'orkan'

en anden betydning på dansk???"

Nope - 'hurricane' means the same thing in Danish: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyclone_Gudrun

Nice vid!  Had my own first experience with truly foul weather yesterday arriving at Domodedovo.  Last 20 miles were all in the red, and the first time I had to hand-throttle and hand fly the bird onto the rwy.... not sure if it was exciting in a good or bad way
