August 7, 201411 yr I have had this problem, with the auto-pilot, sp1 installed, and continues to have the bells and whistles when I disconnect it on final. For example coming into KIAH/Houston, on 15R, on final, ils connected at 2,000ft, now ready to descend, traveling at 170kts, atc has cleared me for landing. I disconnect AP shorltly, next thing I know the bells are ringing. What am I doing wrong?? I have read the manual, where it says to press the z key twice I am just really frustrated here!!! Need some help here. thanks Ronny Spergel

August 7, 201411 yr You have to go into the PMDG aircraft options menu using the FMS and scroll through the pages until you find the optionon resettable alarm. I'm not in front of the sim now but it's wording to that effect. Click yes. You can also select the kind of alert you want to A/P disconnect. Cheers, Bruce Campion-Smith

August 8, 201411 yr Commercial Member You have to go into the PMDG aircraft options menu using the FMS and scroll through the pages until you find the optionon resettable alarm. I'm not in front of the sim now but it's wording to that effect. Click yes. You can also select the kind of alert you want to A/P disconnect. No. False. This needs to stop being used as an "answer," because it's not the answer. Resettable siren or not, clicking the attention getter is not the proper way to stop the AP wailer/siren. Kyle Rogers has a video that explains it better than I ever would. haha - thanks. I guess I'll link to it to make it a little easier... Kyle Rodgers
