addon scenery folder mising from library

Featured Replies

That's exactly what it looks like but the Addon scenery folder does not show up in the scenery library (in game). And no....using the add area button in the library will not add the folder.

There is only the one copy of the scenery.cfg.

The copy in the Program Data folder is the active scenery file.

The copy in the main FSX folder is simply a backup copy.

Check the one in ProgramData \ Microsoft \ FSX

You don't have a copy in the main FSX folder?

That would explain ""Scenery config is missing or damaged reload disk"".

Try copying the scenery.cfg from C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX to the main FSX folder.

Does your Addon Scenery folder have a folder in it named scenery?

Joe

Yes, there is a copy in the main FSX folder. I got that error after I took someones advice and deleted the scenery cfg.  and yes as I already posted ..my Addon Scenery folder has a "folder" named scenery in it. Copying the scenerycfg from C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX to the mainFSX Folder didn't work either.

If you have Skype why don't you try and find someone by PM who would be willing to share screens with you so they could analyze your problem and help you? Bob.
