Paint not showing

Featured Replies

Can someone help me figure out why this paint won't show?  paint 7 is the culprit here... 6 works fine

I'd be just guessing, but what the heck!  I doubt it's the spaces between the = and wording.

Maybe changing ui_variation= "N651RV' to ui_variation= "N651Rv" so it matches title=

Like I said, just guessing.  I'm probably wrong.

So all paints work 1-6 just not the added [fltsim.7]?

This is the wording from the repaint download.

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱

Why a different soundfolder if I may ask?

I can't recall but it's needed to get sound per paintjob... there's two well four variations, RV7 and RV7A as well as canopy that tips up vs canopy that slides...  I guess the sound is different between the four.

Your texture folder reads paint_7Asldr_N651RV

My question is why it's labeled wrong in the [fltsim.xx]

texture=7Asldr_N651RV  is what it's suppose to be  (NOT texture=paint_7Atip_N651RV)

The model is a slider and the paint is a tip-up.

EDIT: You pipped me at the post.

canopy that tips up vs canopy that slides

Assuming that these are distinct models, do they call the same textures by file names?

Your texture folder appears to be for a tipping canopy yet the model (and panel) are calling for the sliding canopy.

Whoever uploaded the paint job just used the wrong texture=.  No big deal, just type in

the correct name of the folder.
