January 9, 201511 yr Here is the rest of the flight from PHX to ORD. Cruise Phase Descending towards Chicago O'Hare Chicago Midway from the air on my downwind leg to O'Hare Meigs Field in the fore ground, to the left Soldier field, home of the Chicago Bears. Right before turning final to intercept Localizer Did a CAT II till right around minimums as plane was getting tossed all over the place. Plus was trying it out as it was my first time doing anything beyond a CAT I. Just wanted to see if I was doing it right. 50, 40, 30, 20, RETARD, 10, 5... At Gate 12 in Concourse K. NATIONAL THREE DEPARTURE out of runway 1, left turn right after take off to avoid the P-56 Restricted Airspace. Under our left wing is the United States Pentagon! Hmm, that livery looks familiar... Waiting patiently as the passengers board at gate K9 AA2284 line up and wait 27R On the climb out through some clouds. Can see the night lights down below. Once again down town Chicago can be seen through the clouds as I climb up to FL350 FL350 Short final to RWY 01 at DCA. Crosswind much? Not the greatest landing, but got everyone to the gate safe. -David
