January 14, 201511 yr Nice shots Mike! How do you like Qantas Virtual? Love it. I joined because I wanted to do some flying down under. It's a first class virtual airline run by some really great people. i'd recommend it highly.
January 14, 201511 yr I thought about joining them. I follow them on Instagram and have always liked them. I thought about joining one of their partner Airlines like American Air. But I'll look more into it for sure. Love it. I joined because I wanted to do some flying down under. January 14, 201511 yr They have a large variety of routes and even though you have type ratings, you can fly almost anywhere in the world. Give them a look. http://qantasvirtual.com/index.php/

I'd love to know what you're using for your sky textures (if it's REX, what theme it is) and if you're using ENB. I've been trying hard to get a realistic (not 'cinematic') daytime sky look in FSX, and it seems that you've about hit the nail on the head.

I've been trying hard to get a realistic (not 'cinematic') daytime sky look in FSX, and it seems that you've about hit the nail on the head. Hello, thank you so much. . It is REX. I don't know the themes off the top of my head. However, when I get home I'll make sure to let you know which ones they are. I am not using ENB but since I crop my pictures using Photoshop on some I do add a bit of contrast just to make the colors pop a bit more. However, they don't look much different than the un-edited ones. I can post one up for comparison purposes of you'd like. All I'm using is REX for textures, and REX soft clouds for the lower level clouds. I did spend some time switching themes around and this one by far is my favorite, and most realistic looking one. -David
