October 4, 201411 yr P3D 2.4 finally convinced me to make the big migration. Question. Can all the ORBX airports I have be utilized properly in P3D 2.4 using the Migration software? I only have a few airports that have the new P3D 2 installer built in but some of my favorite airports like KRDD, KSFF, and KBZN are still lacking the updated installer, Any positive experiences? Thanks, Stephen Luebbert
October 4, 201411 yr NO!!!!!!!!! You can NOT use ANY Migration tool to get ORBX Sceneries working in P3D, 100%!!! You have to log in to your FSS account and redownload your bought sceneries with triple installers. See here what sceneries are compatible. http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/68566-master-list-of-all-p3d2-ready-orbx-products/ Jack The Swede in Spain Jack J Jackson Castalla, Alicante, Spain

October 4, 201411 yr Lol? I think you can actually... But I never got the migration tool, I'm not sure You can laugh as much as you like but.... I have tested and it doesn´t work 100% AND if you do, you loose ALL rights to get ORBX support. Jack J Jackson Castalla, Alicante, Spain
October 4, 201411 yr Well perhaps they should update their old airports before releasing new ones... argh | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

Thanks, Stephen Luebbert Fullterrains Forum gives a detailed list of already converted airports and what can and can't be done. I believe that because of the regular continiung updates to LM P3D, effectively rendering the previous ORBX scenery incompatible, they are considering the introduction of a modest update fee, which I think is reasonable. I emphasise the updates are still FREE, as they become available.
October 4, 201411 yr I just came across this a while ago, but I havent used it myself, so I'm not sure if it's useful... But maybe this is what your looking for? http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/44718-orbx-p3d-migrator-tool/ Cheers! Maarten
October 4, 201411 yr Ah ok. Like I said, I just came across it, I thought to throw it in, just in case. Too bad Cheers! Maarten
October 4, 201411 yr First the list of already converted airports (with a new installer) http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/68566-master-list-of-all-p3d2-ready-orbx-products/ Then an explanation by Alex Goff of what they do to convert their sceneries (post #9) : http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/85321-ftx-na-s45-siletz-bay-state-airport-triple-installer-now-available/ I suspect that no migration tool can properly do that (including forthe delicate ObjectFlow stuff). Using a migration tool is a sure recipe, if not for nightmare, at least for degraded performance and features. OrbX which is, of course, under no obligation to transport FSX sceneries to another simulator and do it nonetheless for free, releases converted airports at a very reasonable pace.
