November 1, 201411 yr Glad you solved it. Dust can be a very big contributor to overheating. I run my system pretty hot and fairly near the edge and have to ensure it is dust free a couple of times per year. Also in the summer when it is hot, I find taking the side of the case off cools things down by several degrees. November 1, 201411 yr Dust is a major contributor to overheating of computer components. I have the Antec 900 computer case. To control dust, I tape a couple of used clothes dryer fabric softer sheets over the intake fan grill and the side vent grill. I change these "air filters" every month. This really cuts down on dust accumulation inside the case and I only have to give the inside a light dusting about twice a year. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
