Actually a digital copy for P3D is just about the same price.

Just received my boxed copy today. Pre-ordered on april 2014

Better late then never. But it was well worth the wait.

 

Paid 45 dollars for it and it comes with an coloured manual 100+ pages.

Does anyone know if the boxed version can be updated with the same SP1 update as the download version?

 

I have the 737 (DL version) and have been waiting for the SP1 Update for the 777 before making my purchase. However, the boxed version has a preprinted booklet that interests me, so might go that route this time.

So far I have been able to run the SPs on top of my boxed PMDG purchases. But usually the SP installer has notified me that the box already contains the latest version.
