Day 1 buy for me. The dc-6b will be my first add on for x-plane ever and i'm probably not the only one. Thanks for the update.

Thank you for the update. Can DVD users(fsx only) choose between a seperate FSX only service pack with the weather radar. Or is the service pack combined with the Steam edition update and the weather radar feature. So DVD users have to wait 4-8 weeks extra for the FSX weather radar update? Even if they don't want to use it on the Steam edition?

The Steam platform app that needs to run besides every game eats 100mb extra memory. It's pretty useless to some. And the majority loves it. But these servers will eventually be gone one day. So owning a wide library of games is risky on the steam platform.

This reminds me of the Ryanair CEO making a statement that co-pilots are not truly needed and only 1 pilot would be sufficient for a save flight. Forcing savings means cutting corners that can't be good.

Saw the GTA V ps4 version wasn't all too impressed. The planes do fly like RC toys. The planes/choppers can probably be tweaked by a mod for realistic handling(pc version). They released car handling mods on the IV. Almost felt like my real car I'll keep it at FSX for semi-realistic handling

Enhance overcast conditions turned off can make a huge difference too.

I'm running windows 7 64 bit premium without any problems. Maybe something got corrupted while updating.

Still struggling with the PMDG FCOMS -_- So PMDG can take it's time. The queen of the skies V2 is on my agenda. And i wonder what they will release on the X-Plane version.

I bought the airplane a few years ago (boxed) and the FCOM is really complicated. I find the 737NGX easier to fly than the pmdg md-11. The md-11 cockpit is something to get used to when you are coming from a boeing airplane. The FMS and Flight Control Panel tend to work in a different way. So you really need to study those FCOM manuals around 1000 pages to get going and fly safe with the md-11. It really is a beautiful airplane once you get the hang of it but skipping preflight isn't doing this product any justice. The last md-11 PAX in service has ended this month over here in the Netherlands. Always saw them stationed near the highway. Anyway you really need to be a die hard mcdonnel fan to appreciate this type of flying. Still studying this plane as i speak

I've heard the overclocking temps vs voltage needed aren't that spectacular. I could be wrong. Still running an 980x core i7 .

Some options that may help. Don't know which windows you are running i asume windows 7. -right click drive. Properties. Then click disk clean up. Windows 7 tends to keep allot of useless temporary files. -Use a program called windirstat to see your drive file structure. You can clearly see what's taking allot of space by using that program. I'm using an 80gb ssd C drive myself.

You must change an option in the cdu pmdg 777 . Resettable warning horn On. Or press the disconnect autopilot 2 times. Not the bar.

Some voicesets do sound a bit high pitched.

Just received my boxed copy today. Pre-ordered on april 2014 Better late then never. But it was well worth the wait. Paid 45 dollars for it and it comes with an coloured manual 100+ pages.

Is this becoming a trend of somesort, confusing unlogical layouts? :Pig: This really is a case don't fix it, if it aint broken. I prefer the old layout, you can see the daily news in an instant. So i do check this site daily with the old layout but it looks like a maze as of now. This reminds me of a hardware website that changed web layouts and lost an awful lot of vistors, i kid you not.
