December 2, 201411 yr I fully understand people not wanting to visit a flightsim show because of travel costs, but I would urge anyone who has never been to one to attend if they possibly can. I made my own "flightsim show debut" this October at RAF Cosford in England, and it was a very memorable experience. Meeting various people face to face that I have only ever known on flightsim forums, and imparting advice to other show attendees (based on my personal expereince of various aspects of flight simulation) was very enjoyable. My attendance at Cosford 2015 is a no brainer  Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
December 2, 201411 yr Moderator Chris, if I lived in GB or even on the continent I'd likely attend every such show myself! However, living in northwest Indiana as I do, even a trip to the western suburbs of Chicago is a full day's drive. I can be in Illinois in less than ten minutes, but depending on the time of day it could take four to six hours just to reach KORD... Fr. January 17, 201511 yr No more conventions - I'm very, very sorry to hear this. The convention(s) to me were the glue that held the fuse together. From Tahoe to Denver, Wichita to Dulles and all others. I hope Tom reconsiders... Doug
