the file size put me off but looks like I am going to purchase. There already is an afcad in the avsim library though, too bad the developers didn't add enough parking already.

There is a new version available today. No change log but from what I can see they added the cable car on the island, and added the parking assist, AFCAD has also been modified.

The update installed into two different directories and the documentation does not have a version number. Pretty frustrating. 

After all the updates, is this scenery high quality? Or are there still bugs the developers ignore? I am deciding between VHHH and OTHH but looking at their support forums both have bugs that are still not fixed

For VHHH, after the update, you would still run into the jetway when following the dock or the ground marking for some parkings. And the jetways don't align with the building nicely. I really think Taxi2gate is going down on quality control,. It would be great if they can fix those bugs but they said no more updates for vhhh.

 

With that said, i don't think it is a deal breaker given that it is still the best VHHH on the market.

I purchased it and am happy with it. I park at the cargo apron but as you said, there are small things here and there nothing major. They need one more good qa tester. OTHH I passed on but I will buy maybe next month. The official forum posts appear to show some outstanding issues with it though.

 

VHHH approach is smooth, building textures look great, and enough scenery surrounding to give a great feel. Ramp texturing and ground all look perfect. No problems with PMDG taxi light reflections. Very good scenery.

Has anyone else removed the 5 files in the VHHH Terrain scenery folder that deactivate Lantau Island? This was an option by T2G but it seems to cause some nasty results on the airport afterwards....

 

Anyone else confirm this???

 

Also interested to know if you spot the typo once VHHH Hong Kong International has been selected in your FSX main menu?
