Hey KingAir, Just the Mesh for South America is not enough either.Like my recent post said, Mesh and Landclass is what will do the trick.I installed only the 76m mesh for south america and went to visit a part of Brazil I know very well and was a bit disappointed. Mountains/elevations look a lot better than they used to, however, the lack of landclass is visible.Also, it is still missing many islands (I thought Mesh would correct at least that, but it didn't). Now on to my next search : Landclass for South America (or at least Brazil). FSGenesis doesn't have it.

But you declined to let us all in on your source of all these free roads and watersI am not involved in any way with Mapserver only a customer who having looked around at the other roads and waters packages available came to the conclusion that mapserver membership was a bargain.So let me know where i can get complete roads and waters coveragefor europe as freeware, better still list the freeware roads and waters that you have installed on your system and while you are doing thatlet me know where i can aquire some of your paintings as freewareIt seems it is ok for you to sell your work but you want other people's as freeware.tell me what is poor value about mapserver ?.

It might, but without corrected shorelines, those correctly elevated islands are simply masked beneath the waves! As you said, the combination is key. I found adding FSG's streams to an accurate landclass and mesh really added a tremendous amount of realism. Seeing them flow in the valleys and connect my FREEflow lakes was a tremendous effect!Best,sg

My membership was paid for a lifetime, within a month after Justin offered it. You however charge about as much for a year, as I paid for a LIFETIME membership... I buy other payware also, like my most recent package of Megacity arrived today.For over 20 years (1976-1997, I operated a FREE Bulletin Board System, (BBS) "The CA Self-Help BBS" the second in CA, 23rd system in the US, and 35th system in the World. It was in effect a similar system which you are charging for... only difference I had to PAY for 16 telephone lines into my home and all equipment, when one Modem cost $300, 60K 5.25 Floppy drive cost $298, and 5 meg drive cost $1500, so people could communicate using Forums much like this, and download software FREE, long before they could get access to the Internet.
