February 1, 200620 yr While you're waiting for Rick's, there's a new 748 by J.R. Lucariny on the other site.:-hah avroc91.zip John
February 1, 200620 yr I'm confused. That's a very nice looking VC. Why not include it?Thanks,Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com/FC_StartJava.html] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-) Tom Perry
February 1, 200620 yr Nowhere does it say i am not including the VC.Virtual Cabin might be left out not VC Virtual Cockpit.RegardsRick
February 2, 200620 yr you misread, a virtual co-pilot will not be included (no problem here as I find it looks odd anyway)
February 2, 200620 yr Oops, sorry, as Al noted, I misread Virtual Copilot as Virtual Cockpit. Wish I could blame it on my eyes, but, I'm going to just have to admit to terminal stupidity. :(Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com/FC_StartJava.html] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-) Tom Perry
February 2, 200620 yr Can anybody that side of the Irish Sea remember whether Dan Air used to run a 748 during the 80's? I always swore that it was the first a/c I flew on but could never find reference to it on the net,it was a Dublin to Newcastle route if anybody has any info?ThanksGeorge TyrrellEIDW
February 11, 200620 yr Hi GeorgeYes Dan Air ran a few HS748's for years.they took them from Skyways Coachair when they folded in the early 1960's and ran them till the very late 1980's.G-ARAY (second Prototype 748)G-AZSUG-AXVG G-BIUVG-ATMIThere may be more but these are the ones i can find pictures of on airliners.netOne of my beta crew was the Dan Air Loadmaster for Many years on the 748s too.RegardsRick

March 9, 200620 yr Hi StaffanIt's nice to see your still alive after you left the FS world.I hope your back for a while at least as i started with your stuff so it could be your fault i now have no spare time ;o)Big AlThe main thing that is holding up the HS748 is pictures of the cockpit looking backwards as there are 2 equipment racks but i cannot find any pictures of that area at all.I have asked on the HS748.com site too but noone there takes me very seriously making a model for a silly game.Their loss not mine!Emerald Airways do not reply or answer their telephones& Air North started ok but then went silent on me. :((RegardsRick
March 9, 200620 yr Rick, I have the West Air Sweden DVD that I can ship to you, I dont recall if they had any shots of it but you are welcome to check it out. PM me if you do want it

I really appreciate it. :-)I really never left the FS World. Just my active publicprogramming.Today, I am just doing some small projects for my own purpouses. If a day had more than 24 hours, I maybe could do more public projects. :-)However, I am involved in some project beta testings,...hint...hint...:-lolI checked the Air Gabon DVD I have, but sadly they do not show any of the cockpit back views on the HS 748.http://www.scandicair.com/images/sa_banner.gifMy specs are:Dell Dimension 4600 P4/3.0 Ghz1024 Mb DDR333 Dual channel memory (2x256,1x512)256 Mb ATI Radeon X850 ProOmega 6.01DirectX 9.0cW XP Home with SP1E171FPb Flat panel monitor 17"240Gb (2x120) 7200rpm HD Staffan
