LVFR KSNA John Wayne Bright Ry Lights

I just bought it. It's a really, really nice airport. I turned on the FS9 lights but I still have the big green approach lights on to7p of the FS9 ones. Anyway to shut those off?

Gregg, try running the config as admin, flipping the options in the config back and forth. If that doesn't work, turn off or remove "SNA_rwy20llight.bgl", SNA_rwy20rlight.bgl", and SNA_rwy20RlightB.bgl." from the scenery folder. It's a beautiful airport though, huh? The surrounding scenery looks really nice at dusk with the buildings lit up and traffic running through the freeways. Performance has been pretty good for me too.

I'll give it a shot.  I used to use KSNA as my home airport.  Shot, I dunno, hundreds and hundreds of patterns there over the years.  This, though, brings me back.  It's so well done.  Feels so much nicer flying there now that it looks, somewhat, real.  Be nice if they'd do Bob Hope...so many possible airports around there.

I know what you mean, this scenery gives me a feeling of being there. There's a ton of airports in SoCal, so I worry about keeping them all active at the same time even with what's already available but I would love to have a version of Bob Hope. I used to work in Burbank right down the street from the airport. Oh, BTW, if you don't have it already check out Aerosoft's free version of Catalina Island (w/ airport). It's a demo for their LA scenery. Compliments a lot of GA flights in the area, and has a very challenging approach - the terrain always creates an optical illusion for me and I come in too high or too low, lol. And the Catalina VOR (SXC) serves as a waypoint for KSNA's Channel2 SID, so you'll get some nice views of the islands mesh/photo real as you overfly it.

LOL...yeah.  Me too.  I just rebuilt my sim, though, and, at the moment, everything seems okay.  I'm really just pondering the area...thinking about what I should and shouldn't install.  Right now I've only got this one airport installed.
