My installed VS runtimes for VS 2015, 2017 and 2019 both x86 and x64 are at version 14.25.28508, which is the very latest. I'm sorry Jim, I have no idea of the problem as it works fine on my rig. Yes, will be curious if others have success. I did try the same pop-up code in the FlySimWare Falcon 50 with the same result. A semi-transparent gray window appears, but it has no content. FWIW, I have GSX installed, along with SODE and FSUIPC 6.08. SODE and Couatl load as child processes of P3DV5.exe. I can try disabling those add-ons to see if they are affecting anything. May 12, 20206 yr Hi Roland, I left you a reply over at the HiFi forums...didn't want to double post. Worked fine for me except seemed to freeze after a few turns. P3D v5 HF1 with Carenado PC12 VC only. Win10 64, AS P3D beta ver7434 Thank you for working on this! Bruce L. Bruce Leehan

May 12, 20206 yr I'm going to test this later this evening. I have just a couple of questions and I apologize if the answer is in the middle of this thread which I haven't fully read. 1. ASP3D does not have a as_srv folder, and hence no as_btstrp.dll - is it appropriate to use the one from AS_P3Dv4 or is it no longer needed? 2. Does each aircraft installed via add-on.xml require the RolASNRadar.dll in it's gauges folder, or is it sufficient to just reference this gauge once by itself via add-on.xml? TIA! sg Edited May 12, 20206 yr by Gridley [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)

May 12, 20206 yr I tested with and without reference to as_srv.dll in dll.xml, doesn't seem to matter, so not necessary. For the A2A planes which I have installed to a folder outside p3dv5 and using via add-on.xml, it seems better to have a copy of RolASNRadar.dll in the A2A\Gauges folder - loaded faster and seems more stable than a single dll in root\gauges. Thanks all, particularly you Roland! Any chance this is all we need to get Milviz 310 working? 😄 😄 [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)

I believe one can do a dirty hack on PMDG or Majectic Q400 Dll involved in weather radar, simply using an Hexa editor and find/replace the old module name by the new one, because luckily both have the exact same characters number (as_connect_64 >> as_connect_v5) And the hack seems to works fine, see here the MJC Q400 in P3Dv5 HF1 and ASP3D beta 2: Roland MSFS my local airport release: LFOR Chartres-Metropole MSFS Plugins RAAS (registered FSUIPC7 required) MSFS FX for Objects & Landmark in France (Steam and smoke) and Aerial coverage for French nuclear sites
May 24, 20206 yr Hello, Running P3D V4.5HF3, I've updated the Dll x64 using ASP3D Open Beta #3 (7448) in the gauges folder of P3D and I'm getting the message "No Radar Link !" in the FlySimWare C441 RDR/GNS. (It used to work before with ASP4 !) I'm only using the gauge with this airplane so I cannot check with other plane currently. June 6, 20206 yr Author Hi, I've build a new DLL (version 3.0) which use the new available option available with ASP3D Beta 4 API: a new processing which includes "Echo Shadow" simulation. >>> Damian explains a bit this new option here which increases realism. I have also increased the beam angle up to 120° and the max range to 160 NM.
