Live ATC Audio Feeds for your flights

Featured Replies

Hey epza, Great site.Good to see someone else 'listening in' as well. My favourite is Boston Tower, there's quite a few characters on there. There's some guy called Charlie who seems to have the patience of a saint and is VERY entertaining to listen to-you'll know who I mean as soon as you hear him!!!.......and another guy that hands off to Departure with.....'Contact departure on ***.**...Asta La Vista Baby!!!'....to which most of the pilots reply...'Adios amigo'.Great site and VERY entertaining.ATC doesn't seem as formidable anymore for some reason!! :-)Best Wishes,Kimbers.

Hi KimbersMonday flight plan includes KBOS; I will check Boston Tower tomorrow and the

koool that site rocks! the only problem is that its REALLY quiet though, everythings set to max but i can still barely make it out

oops sorry, my mistake, I had the headphones plugged in but didnt realise it!

rofl :Di have a question about the live feed as a backround..how do you do it ?start the live feed, and then start FS9 - is it that simple ?

Love listening to this stuff. Sometimes when I fly in real life a pilot will put the atc chatter on a channel the passengers can listen to. Wish they always did that, it's fun.

Thanks for the link...I love it!http://www.alaska.faa.gov/fai/Clipart/SmlAcft.gifAlex ChristoffN562ZBaltimore, MD

Thanks for posting this! I love listening to live atc. I'm listening to lots of UPS flights in Louisville right now :)KP

Boston Centre's the best one :) These really do give a good atmosphere to flights, even cooler when the ATC addresses an aircraft exactly the same as yours (airline aircraft route etc) :(

Great stuff ! Thanks for providing the link....CheersPete :)

Is it possible to integrate these live feeds into FS. Like access and play via kneeboard.Keith

>rofl :D>>i have a question about the live feed as a backround..how do>you do it ?>>start the live feed, and then start FS9 - is it that simple>?Basically yes. Most feeds use either realplayer or windows media. As long as you have a good system, the performance impact should be minimal (if noticable at all). There is nothing like shooting the approach into ATL with this ( http://www.atcmonitor.com/ ) in the background. (except flying online)

How do you listen? I click the boston gnd and windows media player starts up but says it can't play this type of media.JimCYWG

Hey Guys, Had a great afternoon listening to Boston Tower, the 'Hasta La Vista' lunatic was controlling again.....absolutely first class entertainment!!!! :-) Another of his brilliant quirky trade marks seems to be shouting(spelt phonetically) 'Mow-ca ha gaaa-reee zooooooooo' every so often to unsuspecting pilots who don't have a clue how to respond to him LOL!!!!! I was just wondering what the above 'phrase' he shouts means (if anything at all). It's gotta be something to do with saying 'goodbye' or 'take care' e.t.c.???? Does anyone know.......put me outta my misery please!!!! :-)Best Wishes,Kimbers.
