Hi All -

 

I am happily running 2.4 and question he release notes on the bridges and extrusions:

• Fixed a bug that would cause all extrusion effects to draw with a visible sawtooth pattern
• Fixed issues with the bridge pylons that would cause them to look tall/stretched

I would like to know is can we  replace the extrusions.spb in 2.4 with the new 2.5 Extrusions.spb file to "patch" the bridge issue. The old fix was to rename this file and just have them no render. I just want to "patch" this one issue until I have an opportunity to re-install and re-apply all of my add-ons when they become available and I have a free weekend   

 

Will someone please check the date/time stamp on the 2.5 version of extrusions.spd to see if it was updated.

I think I'll experiment with it over the weekend and drop the new version in my 2.4 install to see if fixes the bridges for now...

I thought about telling you it wouldn't work... but figured you wouldn't believe me. :smile:

The fix probably wasn't in the extrusions.spb, that just stores different types of bridges. The fix is in how it is rendered.
