I bought this scenery yesterday and did a flight using Feel There's ERJ 145. Frame rates dipped into the low teens, at various points being in the single digits. It IS, give the level of detail, a frame rate eating scenery. Running an Athlon XP 2200 with an Nvidia GForce Ti 128 mb video card. All settings on medium/dense. (Keep in mind, though, that the ERJ itself is a major frame rate destroyer).Ricardo

Frames were great on my system. I'm at work now so I can't give exact numbers.. Heathrow is much better after the patch as well...

Hello.Couldn't wait for more threads and reviews regarding SIM-WINGS CDG so I pulled out the credit card...The other sceneries I have purchased from Sim-Wings are nice additions to FS9 and CDG is of the same standard and calibre with much detail etc.It is a very large airport. Taxing for take off with the Level D-767 I was getting 19-21 fps.with the settings set to Medium or High. Awesome scenery, It took me 15 minutes just driving around in the airport bus, this is a huge airport. With Ultimate traffic and the generous amount of ground traffic, this airport really comes alive!When is somebody going to do Sydney Australia with this amount of detail, Im kind of surprised one of our major scenery developers have not taken on the task before this?CheersPete :)

There are some downloads which slightly enhance Perth but no CBD.It is still ok as you can see the YPPH in better detail than the standard FS.I downloaded stuff for Sydney too and it rocks (I won't touch the photoreal freebie I don't like it much).Try www.westsim.com.au I think it might release soon, but I have no idea when. That is for Perth.And Singapore is handled by another developer which sells it, but I don't like it much. I haven't used it but I saw the screenies. Hi all,Was a little concerned about purchasing CDG because FPS is always a challenge with my dell 8250- 2.4ghz 768MB rdram computer. As I continued to read about this scenery at http://www.sim-wings.de/products.htm and the posts on this site, I convinced myself to take the plunge. I figured $24.51 was worth the gamble. Installation was straight forward with no problems. My first impression is this scenery is first class all the way. I started with my Eaglesoft Beechjet 400A located at a small gate. Choose to start with the Beechjet since it has less impact on fps. If I had problems with the Beechjet, then I know my fps would be decreased with the PMDG 737 or Dreamfleet 727 and I had made a bad decision on buying this product. Took off to get an overview of the airport and check the fps and any stutters. CDG is a whole lot of airport. The top view was just like the screenshots at their site. Please note that I always try to use VC as long as fps are acceptable. My fps readings with very dense scenery and 100% UTraffic were acceptable, although there was an occasional single digit.(fps locked at 23). I decided to reduce my traffic to 80% and fps stayed in double digits. Made a quick landing switching to different modes with no problems. Next moved up to the Dreamfleet 727. FPS remained in double digits. Bottom line I am pleased with this purchase and I didn

My FX-55 still takes horrible hits from AI. Since i run 100% AI I too get single digit frames in big airports. There isn't really anything to be envious about, your system is pretty good. Flight Sim just can't handle so much at once.
