FSPILOTSHOP email database compromised

Featured Replies

Just a heads up that fspilotshop.com appear to have had a security breach involving their email database. I began receiving spam on a unique email address that was only ever used at fspilotshop.com. After contacting them they advised

We believe we have located and sealed the possible breach. We were testing our newsletter subscription process and some e-mails from the list may have been accessible for a short period of time.

I have been assured that no credit card data was compromised but they did not advise whether any other data was included in the breach.

If you use the same password on multiple sites you may want to consider changing them.

Thanks for the heads up. I've spent a ton of money over there.

Last time I purchased from them was in 2010 so if their was still any data it would be very old and obsolete by now. I wonder if they were able to access software keys

I wonder if they were able to access software keys

They said it was just the e-mail addresses while testing their subscription process. How could that affect software keys?

Best regards,

Then it's fine, I just would think that accessing keys would be of some value but peoples email addresses are not. as long as nothing of value was breached that's fine.
