April 7, 201511 yr Boeing 757-200 cruising at FL370 above the US ... Went from REX Texture Direct to REX Essential Plus and was very happy with the result! Just beautiful clouds with shadows... and I don't get the dreaded 'popcorn-clouds' which haunted me with REX TD... Thanks alot, for watching! Best regards,--Anders Bermann-- ____________________Scandinavian VAPilot-ID: SAS2471

April 8, 201511 yr Funny, I get the "popcorn clouds" with REX Essnetials Ron Hamilton "95% is half the truth, but most of it is lies, but if you read half of what is written, you'll be okay." __ Honey Boo Boo's Mom
April 8, 201511 yr Author Funny, I get the "popcorn clouds" with REX Essnetials Hmm weird... I went away from Texture Direct, because the clouds looks awful. I read somewhere, that REX Essential was a great way to eliminate 'popcorn-clouds' in Prepar3D... REX Essential is amazing (IMO) in Prepar3D ... strangely enough, it's the opposite in FSX ... Texture Direct looks very nice in FSX (at least the clouds) while REX Essential looks horrible ... Don't know why... What clouds are you using and what settings, Ron?
