April 9, 201511 yr Hi guys, I installed service pack 1d and Fs2 crew for 777-200 pmdg. My engine 1 starts when I power it up but there is an engine fail warning on the display and it doesn't respond to throttle even though it is running. Please help

Are you using one of your own panel states, or a panel state created before SP1d? Kyle Rodgers

April 9, 201511 yr Commercial Member I am using the default panel state from the fmc setup. Havent created my own The default panel state is engines running. You wouldn't need to start an engine from that state, so you must be loading a panel state at some point. Try flying without loading a panel state. If you see an error, it's the panel state. My bet is that you're using a panel state from a prior version of the 777 and it's causing an issue. Whenever you update the 777, it's best to delete the panel states before installing the update (even if the panel states are just the ones we give you). Kyle Rodgers
April 9, 201511 yr I can only agree with Kyle. Even saved flights have caused CTDs just because I tried to run it after updating an addon or changing FSX own setting. As an example, I had CTDs after trying to boot into a saved flight with another cloud draw distance than what the original flight was saved with. Took a while to figure out what was causing my CTDs! So now I only use saved flights or panel states for a short time, like if I am testing something. Thereafter I just delete the saved flights and panel states (saved flights also save a panel state each time!). A little paranoid maybe.....but I hate CTDs and will do anything to avoid them. April 9, 201511 yr What do you mean by "Saved Flights" ? Saved Flights through FSX menu ? Or is there an option to save the flight from the FMC? From the FMC I only know and use "Save Panel State", and have often used a saved panel state for flights starting at the most diverse locations and weather... Of course I have to re-program the FMC in case it was set in the saved panel state and I changed airports... Never had problems with this, so far... When you have using the FSX feature, a saved panel state is automatically created and associated with that flight. Wouldn't want to reload an FSX flight and have your panel all out of sync, eh? April 10, 201511 yr I installed service pack 1d Do you have FSX SE? Because if you have FSX you don't need to install SP1D. Artur MunteanuThe secret of life is honesty and fair dealing. If you can fake that, you've got it made!
