April 30, 201511 yr After being spoiled by the smooth performance, volumentric fog and cloud shadows I couldn't go back to FSX. There's lots to be done with P3D but at least they're working on it slowly unlike MS. Chillblast Core i5 14600KF Liquid Cooled RTX 4070 SUPER 32GB RAM. Internet: 1 Gig Fibre. April 30, 201511 yr I bought P3D about 6 weeks ago figuring I would use it alongside FSX (DX10). Well, I haven't used FSX once since I installed P3D. I did make the mistake of trying to make too many tweaks and changes and ended up having to start with a clean .cfg 2 days ago since I got to the point my performance had slowed and was getting pauses every 8-10 seconds. I now have it running smoothly again with only a few minimal changes to NVI and adjusting my sliders in P3D. PMDG NGX runs at high 30's over a my dense test area in P3D vs the same area in FSX which was low 20's at best. I'd say go for it!
