OPTIMIZE PART=1 and EZDOK

Featured Replies

I think I am just going to blow away EZDOK and start from scratch.  It may just be a bad install.   I can't think of anything else I can do to get the camera movement controls to stop cutting out at random.

Try this...

I have slightly different question withing this topic. There are seldom occurrences when EZDOK stops to respond in-flight. Is there any way to reboot EZDOK while in-flight?

Thanks

As far as I know, no.  You can open up the editor tool but there is no way to shut it off and back on again without restarting the simulator.   Don't quote me 100% on this but I have not found a way.  I looked, just in case I could to make the movement keys start working again and it was a no deal.

Andre, bless you and your entire family.   I am not at home right now.  I am at work but I guarantee it is the first thread scenario.    I use the CTRL key a lot when bringing up GSX and when talking on Vatsim.    Remember how I said it almost ALWAYS freezes the movement keys when I land?  That's because I am using CTRL-SHIFT-Z to bring up the GSX menu to get the gate Marshaller online.  That thread says those keys will make EZDOK movement keys become unresponsive and just to tap them again.   My gut tells me this is 100% the issue.  I'll verify it when I get home and do my flight today.  Thanks for the links.

I've given up with EZDOK and have opted for the alternatives for similar reasons.

I would post this on the Ezdok forum. It can't be a problem sometimes to get it installed, but once it is, it works very well.
